AKSHAY KUMAR BREAKS 18-YEAR-OLD RULE TO SHOOT IN DOUBLE SHIFTS | 21 September, 2020

Akshay Kumar broke his own rule and declared that he would shoot in double shifts for Bellbottom just so that the producers can make up for the 14-day loss due to quarantine of the entire unit when it reached the UK for the start-to-finish shooting schedule. It is common knowledge that Akshay, who puts health and fitness above a lot of things in life, shoots in 8-hour single shifts only — and he has been doing so for the past 18 years. But Akshay decided to break the rule because the unit lost 14 days in self-quarantine when it landed in the UK for the shooting. The 14 days of quarantine were taken into account while planning the schedule as it was a government regulation in the coronavirus pandemic situation but Akshay asked the producers to engage two units instead of one so that the film could be wrapped up faster than planned. Not just the other cast and crew members but Akshay Kumar himself is also shooting in double shifts to complete the UK schedule before time. The film is currently being shot in Scotland.
