A petition has been filed from Kota in the Rajasthan high court, seeking a ban on Mardaani 2. The petition alleges that the film depicts Kota city in bad light as it is referred to as a rape city in the film. Petitioner Tasleem Ahamad has demanded a complete ban on the film.
The court on 12th December issued notices to the Union I & B ministry and the CBFC chairman.
