Actor Allu Arjun was on January 3 granted regular bail by a court in Hyderabad in the stampede case on December 4 during the premiere of his Telugu film, Pushpa: The Rule Part 2, at Sandhya cinema. A woman died in the stampede and her son was seriously injured. The little boy is still in a critical condition.
Allu was out on interim bail granted by the Telangana high court after he was arrested on December 13 and had to spend a night in jail.
On January 3, additional metropolitan sessions judge, while granting him regular bail, laid down certain conditions including restricting him from leaving the country without prior court permission.
