The Delhi high court on July 3 dismissed actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s plea to end criminal proceedings against her in a Rs. 200-crore money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrasekhar who is currently in prison for fraud. Justice Anish Dayal also dismissed the plea that sought to quash the chargesheet by the Enforcement Directorate and the proceedings pending before the special court under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) against her and others.
