‘DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA THE MOVIE: INFINITY CASTLE’ (ANIMATION; DUBBED) REVIEW | 12 September, 2025

Unfotable’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle (animation; dubbed from the Japanese film of the same name; UA) is an anime action film based on the anime series Demon Slayer. It follows a boy, Tanjiro Kamado, after his family is killed by demons and his sister is turned into one. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to seek a cure for his sister and to avenge his family. Tanjiro fights Akaza and ultimately dies.

Based on the anime series written by Koyoharu Gotouge, the film’s screenplay is penned by Unfotable. For those who’ve been watching the anime series, the drama offers a lot of exciting thrills. But for those who are not fans of the anime series, the drama doesn’t sustain their interest for long.

Haruo Sotozaki’s direction is excellent. The animation is extraordinary. Dubbing and voice acting are also wonderful. The action scenes will be simply adored by fans of the anime series and by the youth. Yūichi Terao’s cinematography is first-rate. Manabu Kamino’s editing is sharp.

On the whole, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle is a surefire hit as youngsters will lap it up in a big way. Of course, business of the English version and in the big cities will be the best.
