The Telangana Film Development Corporation Ltd. has bestowed the Nagireddy Chakrapani Film Award for 2024 on producer A. Purnachandra Rao. The award was presented at the Gaddar Telangana Films Awards ceremony on 14th June in Hyderabad. It carries a cash prize of Rs. 10 lakh, a memento and a citation.
This award has been instituted by the government of Telangana. Purnachandra Rao was chosen for the award in honour and appreciation of his “outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Telugu Cinema”.
