Albert Theatres in Madras was sealed by the Greater Chennai Corporation on March 31 for non-payment of property and entertainment taxes. The property tax arrears of the cinema, located in Egmore, total Rs. 51.27 lakh. The arrears of entertainment tax are Rs. 14 lakh.
