PVR Inox today (2nd May) announced the launch of a six-screen multiplex in New Delhi at Vishal Enclave near Rajouri Garden. The erstwhile Vishal cinema has been converted into a multiplex with two premium formats — IMAX and MX 4D, making it the third of its kind in the capital city. The six screens have a combined seating capacity of 979. One auditorium has recliner seats as well.
The auditoria are equipped with laser projection system, Dolby Atmos surround sound system and 3D screen too.
With this multiplex, PVR Inox has a total of 25 cinemas and 97 screens in Delhi. The total in North India has now gone up to 102 properties and 449 screens.
