The Versova (Bombay) police on 22nd November arrested Roshan Bhinder, widow of TV director Garry Bhinder, in a case of alleged cheating and fraud to the tune of Rs. 37 lakh, filed against her in January this year. According to the police, she was arrested on a complaint by television actor Hiten Tejwani and producer and businessman Rajesh Jaisinghani, on charges of fraud.
Her anticipatory bail plea was then rejected by the court. Investigations are on.
