Pista Dhakad, a 25-year-old talent manager of Bigg Boss 14, was killed in a road accident near Film City in Bombay on the night of January 15. Her two-wheeler skidded on the road because of which she was crushed under the rear tyre of a make-up van which she was trying to overtake. The two-wheeler skidded because of oily water on the road, which leaked from a BMC garbage vehicle. Her colleague, who was riding pillion with her, escaped with minor injuries. Pista was declared brought dead when she was rushed to hospital.
Pista was returning home after the day’s shooting when the fatal accident took place. Her funeral was held the following day. Television actors and Salman Khan expressed shock at Pista’s untimely demise in their social media posts.
