Gorky Film Studio’s Guest From The Future (dubbed from the Russian film Yuz Yil Oldin; UA) is about a man who finds himself in the future. He sees pirates secretly preparing to go back in time to change the course of history. What’s more, he becomes their tool for time travel.
The story is too class-appealing and will alienate most of the audience. The screenplay is not very engaging. Dialogues are commonplace.
Performances are mediocre. Aleksandr Andryusnchenkc’s direction is below the mark. Other technical aspects are okay. Dubbing is so-so.
On the whole, Guest From The Future is a dull fare with bleak box-office chances.
Released on 26-9-’25 at Glamour (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru Rupam Entertainment. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over. Opening was dull everywhere.
