LATEST POSITION | 30 August, 2025 ‘WAR 2’ CRASHES IN 2ND WEEK

War 2 faced a steep fall in collections in the second week. The drop was more than 80%! The film netted Rs. 3.50 crore on the first day (Friday) of the second weekend. Collections almost doubled on Saturday (Rs. 6.75 crore). The total for Sunday was Rs. 7.25 crore so that the second weekend closed at Rs. 17.50 crore. Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 2 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 2.50 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 2 crore, Thursday – Rs. 1.50 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 8 crore, the second week closed at Rs. 25.50 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 180.25 crore. The Telugu dubbed version crashed more than 90% in the second week. It collected only Rs. 4.15 crore in 2nd week, taking its grand total for 2 weeks to Rs. 66.65 crore.

Coolie The Powerhouse (dubbed) also showed a sharp decline in collections in 2nd week. The second weekend started with a net collection of Rs. 1.15 crore. The totals for Saturday and Sunday were Rs. 2.10 crore and Rs. 2.15 crore respectively. After a weekend total of Rs. 5.40 crore, collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 0.65 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.10 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.85 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.65 crore. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 3.25 crore. It, therefore, netted Rs. 8.65 crore in 2nd week. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 35.30 crore.

Mahavatar Narsimha (animation, Hindi and South languages) did well in the fifth week also despite a drop in collections. The fifth weekend started with a net collection of Rs. 1.68 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday increased to Rs. 4.70 crore and further to Rs. 5.88 crore on Sunday. After a fifth weekend total of Rs. 12.26 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 1.05 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.43 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.97 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.94 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 5.39 crore. So, the fifth week closed at Rs. 17.65 crore. Grand total for 5 weeks: Rs. 231.55 crore.

Saiyaara netted Rs. 2.05 crore in the sixth weekend, and another Rs. 1.20 crore during the weekdays, taking the total for the sixth week to Rs. 3.25 crore. Grand total for 6 weeks: Rs. 336.75 crore.

Jurassic World: Rebirth (dubbed and the original English versions) collected Rs. 0.22 crore in 8th week. Grand total for 8 weeks: Rs. 100.31 crore.

F1: The Movie (dubbed and the original English versions) managed to collect reasonably well in 9th week too, mainly the original English version, of course. In fact, the total for the ninth week was more than double that of the eighth week. It is now only Rs. 0.64 crore short of the Rs. 100-crore mark! It started the ninth weekend with a take of Rs. 0.29 crore. Collections on Saturday totalled Rs. 0.64 crore while the total for Sunday was Rs. 0.63 crore. After a 9th weekend total of Rs. 1.56 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.18 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.28 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.41 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.18 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 1.05 crore. In this way, the total for 9th week was Rs. 2.61 crore. Grand total for 9 weeks: Rs. 99.36 crore.

Better-Half Chi Love Story (Marathi) did not fare well in the first week in Maharashtra.
