LATEST POSITION | 27 September, 2025 ‘JOLLY LL.B 3’ SCORES IN OPENING WEEKEND, DROPS THEREAFTER

Jolly LL.B 3 did well in the first weekend but collections dropped dramatically after that. Yet, it managed a handsome total of Rs. 71 crore in the first week. The first day saw the film collect Rs. 12.25 crore. Collections on Saturday increased to Rs. 18.75 crore while the total for Sunday was Rs. 19.75 crore. In this way, the first weekend closed at Rs. 50.75 crore. Collections for the weekdays were not very exciting: Monday – Rs. 5.25 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 6.75 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 4.50 crore, Thursday – Rs. 4.25 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 20.75 crore. Total for 1st week: Rs. 71.50 crore.

Nishaanchi bombed in the first week because of lack of proper publicity and release. It could manage to barely net Rs. 1 crore in the first week.

Ajey: The Untold Story Of A Yogi could not do anything worthwhile in the first week in spite of the controversy surrounding its certification by the CBFC. It netted only Rs. 1.50 crore in 1st week.

Anveshan failed to attract the audience to the cinemas in the first week.

Vijeyta performed very badly at the turnstiles in 1st week.

Mirai (dubbed) could not do much in the second week, dropping more than 70%! The second weekend started with a take of Rs. 0.42 crore. Collections on Saturday and Sunday went up to Rs. 0.82 crore and Rs. 0.95 crore respectively, taking the second weekend’s total to Rs. 2.19 crore. Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 0.25 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.35 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.26 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.15 crore. In this way, the total for the weekdays was only Rs. 1.01 crore, and that for the second week, Rs. 3.20 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 17.02 crore.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle (animation, Hindi dubbed, English dubbed and the original Japanese version) did quite well in second week too. It netted Rs. 1.60 crore on the first day of the second weekend. Collections jumped to Rs. 4.40 crore on Saturday. The total for Sunday was Rs. 3.75 crore. After a second weekend total of Rs. 9.75 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 1 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.25 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1 crore, Thursday – Rs. 1 crore. Hence the total for the weekdays was Rs. 4.25 crore. In this way, the film netted Rs. 14 crore in 2nd week, taking its grand total for 2 weeks to Rs. 67 crore.

The Conjuring: Last Rites (dubbed and the original English versions) dropped around 80% in the third week too. It netted Rs. 0.36 crore on the first day of the third weekend. Collections almost doubled to Rs. 0.68 crore on Saturday. The total for Sunday was also Rs. 0.68 crore. After a third weekend total of Rs. 1.72 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.20 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.26 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.20 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.16 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 0.82 crore. In this way, the third week closed at Rs. 2.54 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 81.55 crore.

Aatli Baatmi Futli (Marathi) failed to do much in the first week in Maharashtra.

Kurla To Vengurla (Marathi) did ordinary business in the first week in Maharashtra.

Aranya (Marathi) fared poorly in 1st week in Maharashtra.

Sabar Bonda (Marathi) fared badly in the first week all over Maharashtra.

Zing (Mararthi) flopped in the first week in entire Maharashtra.

Tango Malhar (Marathi) could not do anything noticeable in 1st week in Maharashtra.

Dashavatar (Marathi) continued to rule at the ticket counters in Maharashtra in 2nd week also.
