Actress Shefali Jariwala, best known for her Kaanta Lagaa music video, passed away last night (June 27), reportedly due to cardiac arrest. She was 42. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital by her husband, Parag Tyagi, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Shefali had acted in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and web series Baby Come Naa. But the Kaanta Laga remix video was so popular that it made her a household name. In fact, so popular was that video that Shefali came to be known as the Kaanta Laga girl.
