LATEST POSITION | 7 June, 2025 ‘HOUSEFULL 5’ DAY 1 STARTS SLOW BUT ENDS FAIRLY WELL

HOUSEFULL 5 took a slow start at many places yesterday (6th June) but collections picked up, phenomenally at many places, as the day progressed.

Thug Life (dubbed) opened to terribly poor houses on Thursday (5th June). The reports were also equally terrible.

Sister Midnight bombed in the first week.

Chidiya fared poorly in the first week.

Bombay failed to do anything worthwhile in 1st week. Its Marathi version, Mawaali, also fared miserably in the first week.

His Story Of Itihaas faced rejection in the first week.

Tomchi bombed in the first week.

Vellapanti proved to be a disaster in the first week.

Love Karu Yaaa Shaadi failed to get the public’s love in the first week.

Dilli Dark could not find too many takers in 1st week.

Thugs Of Goa did poor business in the first week.

Agar Magar Kintu Lekin Parantu flopped in the first week all over.

Karate Kid: Legends (dubbed and the original English versions) did not do much in the first week. It netted around Rs. 4.20 crore in the first weekend, and another Rs. 2.75 crore during the weekdays. In this way, the total for the first week was Rs. 6.95 crore.

Bhool Chuk Maaf did fair in the second weekend but dropped markedly in the weekdays. It netted around Rs. 8.50 crore in the second weekend, and another Rs. 4.50 crore during the weekdays. In this way, the second week closed at Rs. 13 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 37 crore. However, if the block bookings are taken into account, the total for 2 weeks was Rs. 61 crore.

Lilo & Stitch (dubbed and the original English versions) dropped around 55% in the second week. It collected approximately Rs. 1.70 crore in 2nd week, taking its grand total for 2 weeks to Rs. 5.55 crore.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (dubbed and the original English versions) joined the Rs. 100-crore club in 3rd week. It netted approximately Rs. 9 crore in the third weekend. Its total for the weekdays was Rs. 5 crore. Hence the third week closed at Rs. 14 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 100.86 crore.

Final Destination: Bloodlines (dubbed and the original English versions) fell more than 45% in 3rd week. It added around Rs. 8.50 crore to its kitty in the third week, taking its grand total for 3 weeks to Rs. 56.25 crore.

Shinchan: Our Dinosaur Diary (animation; dubbed and the original Japanese versions) is in its last lap. It netted around Rs. 0.80 crore in its fourth week. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 7.80 crore.

Raid 2 collected Rs. 3.50 crore in the fifth weekend, and an additional Rs. 1.50 crore during the weekdays. With the total for 5th week being Rs. 5 crore, the film’s grand total for 5 weeks went up to Rs. 159 crore.

Ashtapadi (Marathi) proved a flop in the first week in entire Maharashtra.

Brahm (Gujarati) continued its victory march in the second week in Gujarat and Saurashtra.
