The Amboli police in Bombay have summoned actor Ajaz Khan to record his statement before them in connection with a case registered against him and others over objectionable scenes in their web series, House Arrest.
An FIR had been filed on May 2 against Ajaz, Rajkumar Pandey and others from Ullu Digital on the basis of a complaint by a VHP functionary. Meanwhile, the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission has written to the National Commission for Women for removal of obscene content from all web shows, saying that it was a tactic to increase viewership.
