‘RAJVEER’ REVIEW | 8 August, 2025

Arth Studioz, Sara Motion Pictures, Ruchika Tolani Productions and Samruddhi Motion Pictures’ Rajveer (UA) is the story of a police officer.

Rajveer (Suhas Khamkar) is a police officer who hates the drug mafia with a vengeance. He wants to eliminate anybody and everybody who is connected with the business of supplying drugs, including the drug lord. That’s also because his younger brother had died because of drugs.

Sakar Raut, Jacob, Paul Kurian and Ma’az Khan have written a story which is hackneyed and routine. There is not even a hint of novelty — neither in the story nor in the screenplay penned by the four of them. Resultantly, the drama that emerges is so dull that nothing about it excites, involves, engages or entertains the viewers. Dialogues, penned jointly by all of them, are weak.

Suhas Khamkar does a poor job in the title role. He has worked very hard on his physique and the results are nice. Praashi Awasthi is ordinary. Zakir Hussain delivers an average performance. Others pass muster.

Sakar Raut and Swapnil Deshmukh’s direction is weak. Their narration is so dull that the film turns out to be a boring and drab watch. Abhinandan Gaikwad and Hopun Saikia’s music is below the mark. Lyrics are passable. Lava Kumar’s background music is functional. Bhushan Vedpathak’s camerawork is okay. Production designing (by Ganesh Manore and Nilesh Zope) is ordinary. Sakar Raut and Kashyap Kulkarni’s editing is loose.

On the whole, Rajveer will meet with a disastrous fate at the ticket windows.

Released on 8-8-’25 at Glamour (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru Sunshine Studios. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over. Opening was weak everywhere.
