The BJP has sought permission from the Election Commission to air two Akshay Kumar starrers on NaMo TV. The films in question are Pad Man and Toilet – Ek Prem Katha. The Delhi election body has now written to the EC, seeking clarity whether it can certify films already cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification. Last month, the EC had said, all recorded programmes broadcast on NaMo TV had to be pre-certified.
