Veteran Bombay exhibitor Pitambar Galani passed away yesterday (10th August) around 11.30 p.m. in Bombay. He was in his late eighties. His last rites were performed this afternoon at the Santacruz crematorium in Bombay.
At one time, Pitambharbhai, as he was respectfully called in film trade circles, used to control a very large chain of cinemas in Gujarat, numbering more than 125.
