The teaser of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has done the trick! No sooner was the teaser out than people in the trade started to hazard guesses about what kind of start the third part of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa series would take when it hits the screens on Diwali this year. Of course, the figure will keep changing but what needs to be underlined is that the trade has given the teaser a big thumbs up. The opening day’s collection figure is being touted as Rs. 20-25 crore for now. Point to be noted is that the film will release on November 1 which is the day of Laxmi Pooja. It must be understood that oftentimes, collections are adversely affected on the Laxmi Pooja day of the Diwali festival holidays because a lot of Hindus avoid going to the cinemas on that day as they are busy with pooja and other festivities in their homes.
It must be noted that people in the trade usually discuss the initial value of a film in terms of the opening day’s expected collections if and only if they approve of the teaser/trailer. Anees Bazmee seems to have a big winner up his sleeve!
