A proposed New Year programme featuring actress Sunny Leone at a popular rooftop restaurant in Mathura on 31st December (today) was cancelled after saints and religious organisations there strongly objected to it. Their logic was that events like this were against religious traditions of Braj region and would, therefore, hurt the sentiments of the devotees.
