Six Muslim-dominated nations in Gulf have banned Border 2 for its anti-Pakistan content. Consequently, the film, which released today (January 23) in India and abroad, could not open in those countries — Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Although the ban is not official, these Middle East countries are averse to releasing Indian films which show Pakistan in negative light. Dhurandhar had also not released in the said countries.
