Actor Shreyas Talpade and 12 others have been booked by the Uttar Pradesh police in connection with an alleged investment scam, after several investors claimed that they were cheated with promises of high returns.
According to the complaint, Talpade and the other accused allegedly promoted or were linked to an investment scheme which later failed, causing financial losses to people who invested their money in it. The police have registered an FIR against the accused. Investigations have begun.
