The Central Board of Film Certification has issued an advisory for producers to take special care to indicate on all publicity materials of their film if it has been certified ‘UA’, ‘A’ or ‘S’. This is a mandatory requirement and if a producer does not indicate this in the publicity materials, he is in violation of the prevailing provisions of the Cinematograph (Certification) Rules, 2024.
The advisory also states that such promotional materials shall indicate only the certified title of the film.
