COURT FORMALLY FRAMES CHARGES AGAINST JACQUELINE FERNANDEZ IN SUKESH CHANDRASHEKAR CASE | 3 June, 2026

Setting the stage for trial, a Delhi court on June 3 formally framed charges against actress Jacqueline Fernandez, alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekar and 15 others in a Rs. 200-crore money laundering case. Jacqueline, Sukesh and several others appeared in person in the court on June 3. They pleaded not guilty to the charges.

On May 30, in two separate orders, the court had ordered framing of charges in the two cases. Jacqueline was named an accused for the first time in a supplementary chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate. The ED alleged in its second supplementary complaint against the actress that she was in constant touch with Chandrashekar and had received valuable gifts from him.
