Academy of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences president John Bailey may attend the golden jubilee celebrations of the International Film Festival of India in Goa, which is scheduled from November 20 to 28. This was revealed by I & B minister Prakash Javadekar. He added that Russia had expressed interest to be IFFI’s international partner.
The ministry would rope in students of the Pune-based Film And Television Institute Of India and the Calcutta-based Satyajit Ray Film And Television Institute as part of the festival’s organising committees. The government of Goa will add more screens to show festival films this year.
