Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji will play the original Bunty and Babli in the Bunty Aur Babli sequel, titled Bunty Aur Babli 2. The actors, who teamed together in films like Hum Tum and Ta Ra Rum Pum, will come together after 11 years. Siddhant Chaturvedi and new heroine Sharvari play the lead in the sequel. The sequel will be directed by Varun Sharma for producer Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
