Television actress Divya Bhatnagar lost her battle with COVID-19 and pneumonia early this morning (December 7) when she breathed her last at Seven Hills Hospital in Bombay. She was 34 years old.
The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress was diagnosed with pneumonia and hospitalised on November 26. She contracted coronavirus on November 26 and her condition began to deteriorate because of the virus. She was shifted to Seven Hills Hospital a couple of days later and was on ventilator. However, doctors could not save her as she continued to be critical. They pronounced her dead around 3 a.m. today. Among the other TV serials Divya had worked in were Silsila Pyaar Ka, Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Udaan, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya More and Vish.
