Gabriel Motion Pictures, R. Movie Kraft and U.B. Films Entertainment’s On The Ramp Never Ending Show (UA) is the story of a fashion designer.
Sakid (Ranvir Shorey) is an Indian fashion designer, settled abroad. He works closely with his girlfriend, Angelina (Saidah Jules). But differences soon crop up between the two and they go their separate ways. Unable to make much headway, Sakid finally returns to India.
He meets Kirti (Urvashi Sharma) in India. She herself desires to be a fashion designer and so, Sakid trains her. The two fall in love with each other. Although they try their best, they find it difficult to progress because of lack of funds. Incidentally, Angelina has not been allowing the monies rightfully belonging to Sakid, to reach him. Consequently, all the models leave Sakid and Kirti due to lack of money.
One day, Angelina telephones Sakid and asks him to meet her so that she can pay him his share. She even sends him a ticket but Sakid decides against leaving Kirti. Soon, financial help comes from Sakid’s aunt. Due to this, Sakid and Kirti are able to take their models abroad to participate in a fashion show. There, Sakid meets Angelina. What happens thereafter? Does Sakid return to Angelina or does he continue with Kirti? Do Sakid and Kirti perform well at the fashion show?
Dheeraj Rattan’s story and screenplay are terribly poor and completely fail to engage the audience. The drama is devoid of comedy, emotions and even romance. Resultantly, the screenplay turns out to be boring as ever. Dheeraj Rattan’s dialogues are dull.
Ranvir Shorey acts well in the role of Sakid. Urvashi Sharma is quite good as Kirti. Saidah Jules does a fair job as Angelina. Aarti Randhawa, Khushboo Gupta, Hridaya Banerjee, Angel, Mrinalini Tyagi and Khushbu Goel lend ordinary support.
Imran Khalid’s direction is rather weak. Music (Toshi Sharib, Raaj Ashoo and Rahul Bhatt) is okay. Kumaar’s lyrics are easy on the lips. Neelaabh Kaul’s camerawork is alright. Ashish Gaikar’s editing leaves a lot to be desired.
On the whole, On The Ramp Never Ending Show is a flop fare.
