PVR and UFO Moviez today (24th November) announced at PVR, Juhu, Bombay, their partnership for the installation of a cinema-specific air sterilisation device called UFO-Wolf AirMask in every single PVR property across the nation. It is claimed that the AirMask offers real-time air sterilisation providing protection against harmful bacteria, viruses and microbes in the air and on surfaces. Its non-chemical negative ion generation is said to enhance health and vitality, providing complete protection to patrons while they watch movies at PVR multiplexes. PVR, which is the first cinema chain in India to introduce this, said at a press conference today that the product was successfully tested on SARS COVID-2 virus, at the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Trivandrum. The staff of the PVR multiplex chain is also 100% vaccinated.
The product was launched in the presence of John Abraham at PVR, Juhu, Bombay.
