Aditya Pancholi and Sam Fernandes, producer of Hawa Singh, have filed non-cognisable complaints against each other. Sam has alleged that the actor had been pressurising him to not replace son Sooraj Pancholi in the film, and verbally abused him and even kicked him on his back on 27th January when they met at a hotel. The producer then filed an NC against Aditya at the Juhu police station in Bombay.
On his part, Aditya, who filed a cross-NC for verbal abuse and intimidation against Sam Fernandes at the same police station the following day, refuted the producer’s claims. According to Aditya, Sam had borrowed a huge sum of money from him (Aditya Pancholi) last year and failed to return the same.
Sam told the police that Sooraj was fine with being replaced as financiers were unwilling to back a film with him in the lead role. But his father did not agree to that.
