Shilpa Shetty, her mother (Sunanda Shetty) and sister, Shamita Shetty, have moved the Dindoshi sessions court in Bombay after a magistrate court issued process against them in a cheating case. Parhad Amra, proprietor of Mervin Automotive, had alleged that Shilpa’s father, Surendra Shetty, had taken a “hand loan” of Rs. 21 lakh from him in 2015. He further alleged that after Surendra Shetty’s death in 2016, the family refused to repay the money. The sessions court will hear the plea of Shilpa Shetty and her family on March 14.
