The Enforcement Directorate has started the process of freezing three bank accounts of Bengali film actress Arpita Mukherjee. Her houses were raided on July 23 and 28 after the houses of sacked Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee were raided in the jobs-for-cash scam in the school education department. The three bank accounts have a combined bank balance of more than Rs. 2 crore. ED officials said, at least four cars from outside Arpita’s Tollygunge apartment had gone missing since the place was raided last week.
