Security forces on August 10 gunned down terrorist Lateef Rather and two others of The Resistance Force (TRF) which is affiliated to Lashkar-E-Taiba in central Kashmir’s Budgam district. Lateef was said to be involved in the killing of TV actress and singer Amreen Bhat in May this year. The 35-year-old Bhat was murdered in front of her house.
