Veteran actor Arun Bali breathed his last early this morning (7th October) in Bombay. He was 79 and had been suffering from myasthenia gravis which was detected earlier this year.
Arun Bali was known for his grandfatherly roles in films and television serials. He is seen in today’s release, Goodbye. Among the many films he had acted in are Laal Singh Chaddha, 3 Idiots, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Saugandh, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Khal-nayak, Satya, Ready, Barfi!, Manmarziyaan, Samrat Prithviraj, Panipat, Hey Ram and Kedarnath. He also acted in TV serials like Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, Chanakya and Swabhimaan. His characters of Kunwar Singh in Swabhimaan and of King Porus in Chanakya were very popular. He was also seen in the very popular TV serial Kumkum: Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan.
