The Amboli police in Bombay arrested producer Kamal Kishore Mishra (Dehati Disco) on October 28 in connection with running his car over his wife’s legs on October 19 in the parking area of their housing society. The police added the charge of attempt to commit murder against him. Mishra was remanded to police custody by a magistrate court till October 30.
According to Kamal Kishore’s wife, she had come looking for him in their parking lot and found him in a Mercedes with another woman. She went up to the car to confront him for cheating on her. Mishra allegedly tried to drive away and, in the process, hit his wife with the vehicle. The CCTV footage of the incident shows Mishra’s wife trying to speak to him but his car runs over her legs, injuring her in the process. The wife is now in a stable condition.
