Reliance Retail Ventures has acquired a 51% stake in Alia Bhatt’s kids and maternity wear brand, Ed-a-Mamma, for an undisclosed amount. The brand plans to foray into areas like personal care, baby furniture, children’s story books and an animated series.
The actress founded Ed-a-Mamma in 2020 as a clothing brand for children in the age group of 2-12. It was started as an online brand but it ultimately made its presence felt offline too, in departmental stores.
