The Bombay high court on September 6 granted no immediate relief to actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui to stay the release of his starrer Haddi on Zee5, on September 7. Nawazuddin claimed that over Rs. 5 crore was due to him as balance payment from the producers while accepting that he had received Rs. 4.50 crore. The film was, therefore, released on the OTT platform today (September 7).
In separate orders, Justice Manish Pitale on September 4 granted no interim relief to Oberoi Mega Entertainment LLP and Tiger Trail Productions in an arbitration petition against the release of Haddi.
