Following imminent and probable threats to Shah Rukh Khan, the Maharashtra state home department has upgraded his security to Y-plus. Previously, the star had only two constables moving with him but now, he will have six personal security officers in three shifts round the clock and five armed guards at his residence. The cost for the additional security will have to be borne by the actor himself.
Intel gathered that Shah Rukh had received death threats following the successful release of Pathaan and Jawan.
