The CBI told the Bombay high court on December 20 that it was still verifying whether actress Rhea Chakraborty was the brand ambassador of a company and hence needed to travel abroad for its event. Rhea had filed a petition in the high court, challenging a lookout circular (LOC) against her by the CBI in connection with its probe into actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide in June 2020.
Rhea, who was Sushant’s girlfriend, filed an application seeking temporary suspension of the circular, saying that she needed to travel to Dubai.
