The Sky Is Pink did average business in the first week. It started slow with a net collection of Rs. 2.40 crore on the first day. Collections picked up on Saturday which, therefore, closed at Rs. 3.95 crore. The increase on Sunday was minuscule (Rs. 4.05 crore). After a weekend total of Rs. 10.40 crore, the film collected as follows during the weekdays: Monday – Rs. 1.30 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.25 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.10 crore, Thursday – Rs. 1.20 crore. By adding Rs. 4.85 crore to its kitty in the weekdays, the film took its total for the first week to Rs. 15.25 crore.
War added Rs. 49.65 crore to its kitty in the second week to become the highest-grossing film of the year so far. It surpassed the Rs. 285-crore total of Kabir Singh which held the record for being 2019’s biggest grosser so far. Of the Rs. 49.65 crore, the Hindi version netted Rs. 46.65 crore while the dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions netted Rs. 3 crore. It started its second weekend with a total collection of Rs. 7.60 crore on Friday. Collections increased on Saturday (Rs. 11.80 crore) and even more on Sunday (Rs. 13.90 crore). In this way, it netted Rs. 33.30 crore in the second weekend. Collections during the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 4.75 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 4.20 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 3.60 crore, Thursday – Rs. 3.80 crore. It, therefore, collected a total of Rs. 16.35 crore in the weekdays. In other words, its total for the second week was Rs. 49.65 crore. The 2-week total went up to Rs. 288 crore. The total for the Hindi version was Rs. 275.15 crore while for the two dubbed versions, it was Rs. 12.85 crore. Overseas, the film has grossed more than Rs. 86 crore in 2 weeks.
Dream Girl collected Rs. 1.75 crore in the fifth weekend, and Rs. 1.05 crore in the weekdays. By adding Rs. 2.80 crore, as above, in the fifth week, it took its 5-week total to Rs. 138.75 crore. It has thereby become the highest-grossing film of Ayushmann Khurrana, surpassing the collections of Badhaai Ho.
Chhichhore added Rs. 0.75 crore to its kitty in the sixth weekend, and an additional Rs. 0.40 crore in the weekdays. Hence, it netted Rs. 1.15 crore in 6th week. Grand total for 6 weeks: Rs. 147.01 crore.
