Super 30 did very well in the first week despite an ordinary start. It picked up on Saturday and even more on Sunday. The film opened on Friday with a net total of Rs. 11.83 crore. The Saturday total – Rs. 18.19 crore – was over 50% more than the Friday figure. Collections increased even further on Sunday (Rs. 20.41 crore) in spite of World Cup cricket final. After a weekend total of Rs. 50.43 crore, the film’s collections during the weekdays were good but not excellent. It netted Rs. 6.92 crore on Monday, Rs. 6.39 crore on Tuesday, Rs. 6.16 crore on Wednesday, and Rs. 5.62 crore on Thursday. It, therefore, collected a total of Rs. 25.09 crore in the weekdays, taking its first week’s total to Rs. 75.52 crore. Its performance Overseas was fairly good. The second weekend started on a good note.

Malaal crashed in 2nd week all over.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (dubbed) and the English original of the same name added Rs. 17.10 crore to its kitty in the second week. Its second weekend started with Rs. 2.60 crore on Friday. Collections almost doubled to Rs. 4.70 crore on Saturday. The Sunday total was Rs. 4.80 crore. Thus, the second weekend closed at Rs. 12.10 crore. Collections during the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 1.40 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.30 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.20 crore, Thursday – Rs. 1.10 crore. By adding Rs. 5 crore in the weekdays, it took its 2nd week’s total to Rs. 17.10 crore. The grand total for 2 weeks was, therefore Rs. 78.16 crore.

Article 15 continued to score well. It netted Rs. 1.15 crore on the first day of the third weekend, Rs. 2.15 crore on the second day, and Rs. 2.25 crore on the third day. Its total for the third weekend was, therefore, Rs. 5.55 crore. It collected Rs. 0.65 crore on each of the four weekdays, taking the total for 4 days to Rs. 2.60 crore. Hence, its total for 3rd week was Rs. 8.15 crore. The grand total for 3 weeks was Rs. 60.11 crore.

Kabir Singh held sway over the box-office despite the opposition of the newly-released Super 30. It started its fourth weekend with a net collection of Rs. 2.50 crore on Friday. Collections increased to Rs. 3.75 crore on Saturday, and even more on Sunday (Rs. 4 crore). In this way, the film netted Rs. 10.25 crore in the fourth weekend. It collected Rs. 1.65 crore on Monday. Collections were super-steady on the balance three days of the week as it netted Rs. 1.55 crore on each of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. By netting Rs. 6.30 crore in the weekdays, the film took its fourth week’s total to Rs. 16.55 crore. Its grand total for 4 weeks went up to Rs. 266.15 crore.
