JOLLY LL.B 3 did quite well on the first day even though the morning shows weren’t encouraging. Friday closed at Rs. 12 crore.
Ek Chatur Naar did very ordinary in the first week, netting only Rs. 2.75 crore.
Heer Express could not do much in 1st week. It collected only Rs. 2.50 crore.
Love In Vietnam fared miserably in 1st week.
Jugnuma bombed in the first week.
Mannu Kya Karegga? met with a disastrous fate in the first week.
Mirai (dubbed) did fairly well in the first week. It collected Rs. 1.75 crore on the first day but collections jumped on the following two days. The totals for Saturday and Sunday were Rs. 3.10 crore and Rs. 3.85 crore respectively. After a first weekend total of Rs. 8.70 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 1.18 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.74 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.30 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.90 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 5.12 crore. Therefore, the total for 1st week was Es. 13.82 crore.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle (animation, Hindi dubbed, English dubbed and the original Japanese version) did excellent in the first week. The first weekend started with a take of Rs. 12 crore. Collections on Saturday increased more than 10%so that the day closed at Rs. 13.50 crore. The total for Sunday was also Rs. 13.50 crore and hence the first weekend closed at a wonderful Rs. 39 crore. Collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 4 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 4 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 3.50 crore, Thursday – Rs. 2.50 crore. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 14 crore. Grand total for 1 week: Rs. 53 crore.
Baaghi 4 dropped dramatically in the second week. It collected Rs. 3.75 crore in the second weekend, and another Rs. 2.25 crore during the weekdays. So its total for 2nd week was Rs. 6 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 34.75 crore. (The corporate (block) bookings of the first week amounted to about Rs. 8 crore.)
The Bengal Files also dropped in 2nd week. It netted approximately Rs. 2.75 crore in the second weekend, and Rs. 1.25 crore during the weekdays. Hence the total for 2nd week was Rs. 4 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 13 crore.
Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra (dubbed) did fair in 2nd week. It added Rs. 1 crore to its kitty, taking its grand total for 2 weeks to Rs. 3.25 crore.
The Conjuring: Last Rites (dubbed and the original English versions) dropped around 80% in the second week after a fantastic first week. It started the second weekend with a take of Rs. 2.03 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday increased to Rs. 3.68 crore while the total for Sunday was Rs. 3.32 crore. After a second weekend total of Rs. 9.03 crore, collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 1 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.29 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.97 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.78 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 4.04 crore, the second week closed at Rs. 13.07 crore. In this way, the grand total for 2 weeks went up to Rs. 79.01 crore.
Param Sundari is in its last lap. It netted around Rs. 1.50 crore in the third weekend, and another Rs. 0.75 crore during the weekdays. Therefore, its total for 3rd week was Rs. 2.25 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 45.85 crore.
Mahavatar Narsimha (animation, Hindi and South languages) added only Rs. 0.75 crore to its kitty in the eighth week. Grand total for 8 weeks: Rs. 241.40 crore.
Dashavatar (Marathi) did extraordinary in 1st week in Maharashtra.
Aarpar (Marathi) did ordinary business in the first week in Maharashtra.
Bin Lagnachi Goshta (Marathi) did average business in 1st week in Maharashtra.
Bachu Ni Benpani (Gujarati) continued to score in 3rd week in Gujarat and Saurashtra.
