Both the new releases — MASTIII 4 and 120 BAHADUR — of this week opened to dull houses. With the public reports also being dull, the two films are set for uneventful runs at the box-office.
De De Pyaar De 2 could not find much pyaar from the paying public in the first week. The film netted Rs. 8.25 crore on the first day. Collections increased to Rs. 11.50 crore on Saturday. The increase on Sunday was just a little more than 10% over Saturday. With the Sunday figure being Rs. 12.85 crore, the film collected Rs. 32.60 crore in the first weekend. Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 3.85 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 4.50 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 3.20 crore, Thursday – Rs. 2.85 crore. Hence the total for the weekdays was Rs. 14.40 crore. In this way, the first week closed at Rs. 47 crore.

Haq dropped about 70% in the second week. It started the second weekend with a take of Rs. 0.65 crore. Collections on Saturday and Sunday totalled Rs. 1.15 crore and Rs. 1.25 crore respectively. In this way, the total for the second weekend was only Rs. 3.05 crore. The film collected as follows during the weekdays: Monday – Rs. 0.35 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.45 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.35 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.30 crore. So the total for the weekdays was an unimpressive Rs. 1.45 crore. Therefore, the second week closed at Rs. 4.50 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 18.50 crore.
Predator Badlands (dubbed and the original English versions) collections fell more than 75% in 2nd week. The film managed to net Rs. 1.50 crore in the second weekend, and another Rs. 0.70 crore during the weekdays. Hence the second week closed at Rs. 2.20 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 12.20 crore.
The Taj Story dropped about 75% in the third week. The film netted Rs. 1.90 crore in 3rd week. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 20.30 crore.
Thamma managed to net very ordinary collections in its fourth week. It netted Rs. 0.80 crore in the fourth weekend, and an additional Rs. 0.45 crore during the weekdays, taking its total for the fourth week to Rs. 1.25 crore. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 138.12 crore.
Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat added about Rs. 1.20 crore to its kitty in the fourth week. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 80 crore.
Gondhal (Marathi) netted poor collections in the first week in Maharashtra.
Reel Star (Marathi) fared badly in 1st week all over Maharashtra.
Laalo: Krishna Sada Sahaayate (Gujarati) continued its victory march in 6th week too.
