Jai Mummy Di proved a box-office disaster in the first week. Although a comedy, it anything but made the audience laugh. It collected Rs. 0.45 crore on the first day, Rs. 0.55 crore on the second day, and Rs. 0.60 crore on Sunday. Collections slid down to almost ground level in the weekdays, after a weekend of only Rs. 1.60 crore. It netted Rs. 0.20 crore on each of Monday and Tuesday, and Rs. 0.15 crore on each of Wednesday and Thursday, thereby taking its total for the weekdays to just Rs. 0.70 crore. The first week, therefore, closed at a dismal Rs. 2.30 crore.

Bunker bombed miserably in the first week everywhere.

Dolittle (dubbed) and the English original of the same name did average business in the first weekend but dropped in the weekdays. It collected Rs. 1.20 crore on Friday. Collections increased by 50% on Saturday so that the day closed at Rs. 1.80 crore. Collection on Sunday was Rs. 1.90 crore, giving a weekend total of Rs. 4.90 crore. Collections during the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.40 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.35 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.35 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.35 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 1.45 crore, the first week’s total went up to Rs. 6.35 crore.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior did extraordinarily well in its second week too. It started the second weekend with a total of Rs. 10 crore on Friday. Collections jumped to Rs. 16 crore on Saturday, and further to Rs. 21 crore on Sunday, taking the second weekend’s total to Rs. 47 crore. The collections on the weekdays were also fantastic: Monday – Rs. 7.75 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 7 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 6.50 crore, Thursday – Rs. 6.35 crore. In this way, it netted Rs. 27.60 crore in the weekdays. The second week’s total, therefore, was an astounding Rs. 74.60 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 189.60 crore.

Chhapaak collected Rs. 0.75 crore on the first day of the second weekend. It netted Rs. 1.25 crore on Saturday, and Rs. 1.45 crore on Sunday, taking the second weekend’s total to Rs. 3.45 crore. Collections in the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.45 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.45 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.35 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.40 crore. By netting Rs. 1.65 crore in the weekdays, the film took its second week’s total to Rs. 5.10 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 31 crore.

Good Newwz entered the Rs. 200-crore club in the fourth week. It collected Rs. 3.60 crore in the fourth weekend, and Rs. 2.20 crore in the weekdays. In this way, it netted Rs. 5.80 crore in the fourth week. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 201.01 crore.
