Actor and model Darasing Khurana has been appointed as a Commonwealth Year of Youth Champion for 2024 for his commitment to youth development and empowerment. During his tenure, Khurana will have the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders, participate in significant events and contribute to policy discussions which shape the future of youth in the Commonwealth member countries.
His appointment letter says, “As a Commonwealth year of youth champion, you will play a vital role in providing informed and targeted messaging to governments, youth organisations, the private sector and the general public.” Darasing will be a spokesman, advocate, and person of influence and will be instrumental in guiding and inspiring meaningful action to promote youth development and empowerment across the Commonwealth.
