The Andhra Pradesh government has launched an investigation to probe the alleged harassment of Bombay-based actress Kadambari Jethwani by IPS officers of the state. The actress lodged an online police complaint against three senior IPS officers and some lower-rank officers. Her complaint said that they tortured her mentally and physically and implicated her in a false case, threatening her to withdraw the complaint she had lodged with the BKC police in Bombay.
YSRC functionary Kukkala Vidya Sagar had earlier lodged a complaint of cheating against the actress, However, Kadambari said that he was harassing her as she had turned down his marriage proposal. She alleged that a big conspiracy had been hatched by some high-profile people.
