Actress Noor Malabika Das, who has worked in several web series, including Kajol starrer The Trial, was found dead in her Bombay flat on June 6. Although no suicide note was found, it is suspected that she died by suicide. An accidental death report (ADR) was filed after an autopsy was conducted. She was a former air hostess and hailed from Assam. She used to stay at Lokhandwala in Bombay.
Her body was recovered from her flat when neighbours complained to the police about foul smell emanating. The cops broke open the door and found the 37-year-old actress’ body in a decomposed state. According to them, she may have died a couple of days earlier.
Malabika’s parents had only recently returned to Assam after visiting her. As they couldn’t travel to Bombay again, Malabika’s actor-friend, Aloknath Pathak, cremated her with the help of an NGO.
