Aditya Chowksey was elected president of the Cine Club of Indore at its elections held on 29th July in Indore. He polled 97 votes. Prem Dev (98 votes) was elected vice president while Ashok Choudhary (93) and Ashok Jain (92) were elected secretary and joint secretary respectively. Kishor Bhuradiya (76) was elected treasurer. Manpreet Singh Hora (89) was elected sports secretary.
The others elected to the managing committee were: Pramod Agrawal (90), Ashok Rao (he polled the highest number of votes — 100), Chetan Pandey (66), Sudhir Agrawal (85) and Rajkumar Tiwari (54). Of the eleven elected members, ten are from the Aditya Chowksey group. Only one member from the group, Rajesh Karosiya (52), lost the elections by two votes. In his place was elected Rajkumar Tiwari.
A total of 16 members were in the fray for 11 seats. The other four who lost the elections were Girdharilal Agrawal (50 votes), Ramesh Biwal (26), Rajendra Joshi (42) and Sanjay Yadav (24).
