AMEESHA PATEL, SUNNY LEONE ORDERED TO SETTLE DUES | 26 July, 2023

The Arbitration Tribunal of the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) has ordered Ameesha Patel and Sunny Leone to pay the claims of their respective producers within seven days. The Tribunal met on July 25 and took a serious view of Ameesha’s absence without notice. She was warned to appear before the Tribunal as she had refrained to appear before it on several earlier occasions in the matter of returning the money of A.D. Films. The Tribunal made it clear in its order that if the actress did not settle her dues with the concern, an ex parte decision would be taken.

In the matter of Sunny Leone, the Tribunal took a serious view in spite of her notice of absence. It noted that she had avoided appearing before the Arbitration Tribunal for very long. It directed her to refund within seven days the amount she had received from producer Vinod Bachan’s company, Soundrya Productions.

Both the actresses were directed to comply with the Tribunal’s decision by paying up the claims of the two producers in the stipulated time — seven days from the date of the meeting (July 25).
